Soolmoz Taylor is a Dallas based artist who is full of imaginative ideas which she incorporates into her art. Her focus is primarily needle felting, but she loves exploring with mixed media. Being a texturism enthusiast she loves creating delicate pieces of art such as soft sculptures and portraits. What does denim mean to you?
"Denim is a timeless tough canvas full of character. It reminds me of everyday adventures. It holds memory in its wear and tear and its playful, practical and the perfect backdrop for something handmade."
What do you think of when creating?
"When I create, I think about texture, stories, and tiny imagines lives. I love making pieces that make people smile and pause like they found a tiny pocket of joy."
